Is your rental property compliant with Town of Beech Mountain Code of Ordinances? As listed in the Code, there are several requirements that all Short-Term Rental properties (STRs) must adhere to. Many of these requirements are in place to ensure the life safety of any occupant wishing to rent your property. Failure to complete required forms and/or failure to provide necessary life safety equipment at your STR can result in civil penalties pursuant to the Code of Ordinances. If an incident occurred at your property and required equipment was found to be inoperable or non-existent, you could be criminally charged. Please do your part to help keep Beech Mountain a safer and cleaner place for owners and visitors alike.
