Provides the Town of Beech Mountain with a professional and diverse workforce, who serves the community providing public safety through the Police, Emergency & Fire Departments, Public Works Department includes Utility Water & Sewer, Sanitation- Waste and Recyclables Collection, Stormwater, Roadway, and Construction & Maintenance. The Parks and Recreation Department includes Physical Fitness Classes, Education, Events and Natural Resources Management. Administration provides Planning, Zoning and Building Inspections, with technical, clerical, skilled labor, and trades work. Tourism Development Authority provides a Visitors Center, Marketing and Economic Development assisting businesses, visitors and residents alike.
