In addition to a 43-acre recreational park, Beech Mountain is home to a vast network of hiking and mountain biking trails–perfect for elevating your sense of adventure and fine-tuning your harmony with nature.
Over 26 miles of hiking and mountain bike trails around the mountain, offering visitors focused perspectives of wildlife, waterfalls, and breathtaking scenery. There are trails for all abilities and ages, winding through wooded hideaways and lush, open balds.
The Recreation Department offers season guided hikes, mountain bike lessons, canoeing and fishing, a 7-week summer camp, fitness classes and personal training and even camping. We can help assist you and your family to enjoy Beech Mountain in whatever way you choose.
