WHO WE ARE:
The Town of Beech Mountain is headed up by a five member Town Council whose actions are carried out by the Town Manager. The Town Manager works with 55 full time employees to increase the quality of life for the citizens and visitors of Beech Mountain by supporting Town departments with quality, state of the art municipal personnel services. As a service provider, the Town relies on well-trained, motivated, caring and professional employees.
The Town has approximately 2,350 dwelling units on the mountain, 62 miles of road, produces water for consumption, treats sewer, provides both indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities, polices the community, provides trash collection along with a recycling center, houses E-911, has a Municipal Fire Department, and continues to grow visitor numbers while drawing in new business opportunities.
