Job Duties: The Visitor Center receptionist is a part-time position that staffs the Visitor Center up to 28 hours per week, including weekends.
• This position is responsible for greeting visitors in the Visitor Center and keeping track of numbers served, as well as answering phones and returning messages left on voice mail.
• This position will assist Visitor Center communications and outreach, informational mail-outs and special projects as assigned.
• This position is responsible for stocking information racks, putting out magazines and brochures, and other daily activities required to provide information to our guests.
• This position is responsible for weekly and monthly tallies of visitors, conducting periodic visitor surveys and assisting with Data Collection and collation as needed.
• This position uses office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, and printers.
• All employees in the Visitor Center are responsible for light housekeeping and disinfecting as needed to present a clean, welcoming environment.

To control, collect and properly dispose of household and business refuse.

Employees in this class operate a variety of garbage and refuse collection equipment including an automated back loading garbage truck, a back hoe, dump truck and wood chipper. Emphasis of the work is on operating a large vehicle to collect garbage in the town's residential and commercial districts. Work also includes performing one or more tasks normally associated with Sanitation Workers and other manual labor personnel as required including assisting other work crews in other divisions within the town. Work is supervised by the Sanitation Crew Leader and is evaluated on the basis of attaining performance objectives, safe operation of equipment, and completion of assigned route.

The Camp Buckeye Counselor is responsible for planning and leading programs while providing positive experiences for participants. They will also be responsible for the general safety, development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants. The incumbent will provide high quality outdoor educational and recreational experiences for participants. All Counselors must participate in five days of training before camp begins.
Responsibilities:
· Organize and lead a variety of group activities each week. Activities may include crafts, nature, songs, games, opening and closing procedures, swimming, canoeing. This includes time spent on a bus to and from field trips.
· Communicate with parents about participants’ experiences and report concerns to Camp Director.
· Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, logbook documentation, and daily attendance.
· Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
· Exhibit personal habits, health, dress, speech, table etiquette and relationships with other staff that serve as a beneficial model to campers.
· Help guide Junior Counselors to have a deeper understanding of leadership and counseling skills.
· Learn all opening and closing procedures for recreation facility.
