The Town of Beech Mountain Public Works Department will be performing scheduled work within the right-of-way on Monday, April 20th, 2026. As a result, Lakeledge Road (near the tennis courts) will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m.
During this time, Lakeledge Road will be closed to through traffic. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and follow all posted signage.
Additionally, there will be interruptions to water service beginning at 8:00 a.m., with repairs expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. The affected areas include:
- Lake Road
- Lakeledge Circle
- Lakeledge Road
- Woodridge Road
- Strawberry Lane
- Bluebird Lane
- Chestnut Way
- Foxgrape Hollow
- Dogwood Lane

If you experience discolored or “cloudy” water, please report it to the Town of Beech Mountain Public Works Department and follow these steps:
- If possible, run an outdoor garden hose away from your home to help clear any sediment or debris.
- Flush indoor faucets to remove remaining sediment or debris.
- While the discoloration is non-toxic, it is not recommended for human or pet consumption or for use in large appliances.
