Welcome to the A Cool 5 Race Weekend Home Page

The A Cool 5 Race Weekend is a compilation of events, birthed in June of 2008, held in Beech Mountain, NC annually. The Race Weekend includes pre-race festivities, a pasta dinner, guest motivational speaker, cook-out, lots of live music, fun, and a series of competitive races on Saturday. Please utilize this website to explore detailed information about the weekend, registration, sponsorships, and the various other ammenities Beech Mountain, NC has to offer.

THIS YEARS RACE WAS GREAT! WITH NEARLY 250 RUNNERS FROM OVER NINE STATES, THE WEATHER WAS OUTSTANDING AND WE NOT ONLY BROKE PARTICIPATION RECORDS, BUT WE ALSO HAD A NEW COURSE RECORD SET! A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL! A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED; INCLUDING RUNNERS, WALKERS, VOLUNTEERS, SPONSORS, AND MANY OF THE DEDICATED PEOPLE WE HAD ENTERTAINING THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS THROUGHOUT THE A COOL 5 RACE WEEKEND. PLEASE PLAN ON JOINING US NEXT JUNE 2011 WHEN WE WILL DO IT ALL AGAIN. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The 3rd Annual A Cool 5 Race weekend was a huge success. We nearly broke 250 race participants, had a new course record, and the enitre weekends events were a blast! A big thank you goes out to all of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors!
